Thomas hits 59 in rain-ruined match

Barbados Pride drew with Jamaica Franchise on the final day of their rain-ravaged second round match in the WICB Professional Cricket League at Windward Sports Club here yesterday.

Scores: Jamaica 111 for four decl. (Shacaya Thomas 59; Jason Holder 2-29). Barbados six for two declared. At Guyana National Stadium, Providence: Guyana Jaguars beat Windward Islands Volcanoes by 92 runs.

Scores: Guyana Jaguars 291 (Narsingh Deonarine 139, Shiv Chanderpaul 62, Assad Fudadin 34; Kenroy Peters 5-36, Mervin Mathew 3-29, Nelon Pascal 2-53) and 175 for six decl. (Shiv Chanderpaul 44, Narsingh Deonarine 34, Raymon Reifer 29 not out, Leon Johnson 25; Mervin Mathew 3-43, Alston Bobb 2-30).
