Razor B releases debut album

Razor B

Canada-based dancehall/reggae artiste Razor B is releasing his debut album pontarget in December. The album is on the OG Entertainment label and will be distributed by Fox Fuse.

"The album shows a different side to Razor B. Cater To You (from the album) is exactly what it sounds like. Some men will be mad, but it is time to treat our ladies like the queens that they are. Women are the backbone of the society," Razor B explained in a media release.

Songs on the album include Hearsay, Sleep Over, Champion, Whine And Pedal and the current chart buster Trailer Load, which is climbing several local charts.

Videos for Trailer Load and Whine And Pedal are in steady rotation on MDTV, RETV, HYPE TV and FLOW TV.

Big stage show

This weekend Razor B will perform at one of Toronto's biggest stage shows then head to Jamaica in December to commence preparations for his annual Christmas treat in Waterford, St Catherine.

"I will be in Jamaica hosting my annual Family Fun Day, which I have been doing for over a decade now. My family and friends look forward to coming each year to help out, because it is important to remember where you come from. The kids in my community look up to me and I strive to be a good role model for them," said Razor B.

Razor B recently recorded the song Ungrateful which was inspired by the recent events surrounding the Michael Brown case in the United States. The song features harmonies by Toya Diamond.
