Bugle declares he is under No Obligation

File - Bugle

No one owes him any obligation. Hence, he doesn't depend on anyone to achieve his goals and objectives. That's the lyrical content in dancehall/reggae artiste Bugle's latest single, 'No Obligation'.

No Obligation is taken from the artiste's debut solo album, Anointed. It is produced by Markus Myrie. The accompanying music video has been released and showcases Bugle at his best with performance clips, interacting with colleagues, fans and friends.

Bugle is optimistic No Obligation will resonate with music lovers, based on its message and delivery.

He explained why he decided to utilise performance footage and reactions from fans as the basis for the video.

"Just trying to show people that if I did sit around and wait on others to do things for me, I wouldn't be where I'm at right now. No one owe I no obligation and also wanted people to see me in my element."

Bugle has been on a musical high for the last year and a half. Having scored multiple hits on charts with songs including Anointed, Infidelity (featuring Lady Saw) and Nuh Compatible, Bugle has warmed radio with his message-laced conscious lyrics.

He has performed on numerous stages, locally and overseas, in recent months. He has a hectic schedule going into the New Year.

"I've been doing all the big shows, all over the place, give thanks for the opportunity to be doing so. I also have been doing shows in the US and receiving requests for shows world-wide. 2015 is going to be a really busy year for me," Bugle said.

Among his recent releases are Educated Dunce, Death Row (produced by Daseca Productions), Talk Mi Mind and Insecurity.
