Two mega shows, one night, is exactly stingwhat the promoters of Sting are promising. Now celebrating more than 30 years as the greatest one-night reggae show on earth, the Triple Century Sports Bar was brimming with the who's who of local and international media and entertainers for the launch.

The legendary stage show is now boasting two mega shows for avid dancehall and reggae lovers. The reggae show will run 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., after which the dancehall show will commence.

The reggae show will feature artistes such as Etana, Tarrus Riley, I Wayne and Kabaka Pyramid, Ikaya and Iba Mahr, with the 'fireman' Capleton taking the stage at midnight.

Capleton also did a mini performance at the launch and had fans begging for more. Reeling off hits such as Slew Dem, Or Wha and Fire Time, the 'fireman' stated that he will be igniting the fire at midnight on the night of Sting.

"A long time me nuh represent fi Sting. Me bun out injustice, inequality, ebola, chikungunya. A just good over evil. If unuh want see the rest of the performance, then mek sure unuh come to Sting," he said.

Known as one of the premier events for clashes, this year will be no different, as the event is already promising at least three showdowns.

The launch gave fans a peek into what patrons can expect, as Likkle Dainjah went up against Maestro Don, Animosity against Hot Brain, while Gage challenged Rhyme Minister.

Now making headlines across the island after a video surfaced on social media with him deejaying, the biggest forward of the night went to Gully Man, aka Country Man.

Performing his popular hit Wuk Offa Me, he had the entire audience captivated. The line-up for Sting also include the Fabulous Five: Ishawna, Stylish, Tiana, Destiny Sparta and Konfydence.

Other artistes such as Tommy Lee Sparta, Kalado, Masicka, Ninja Man, Aidonia, Demarco and KipRich are also featured on the line-up.

According to CEO of Supreme Promotions, Isaiah Laing, the anticipation for Sting is at an all-time high.

"The launch lived up to expectations and even exceeded it. All the major artistes and industry people turned out. This was the first time Capleton was performing at Triple Century, so it was a good vibe. What you saw at the launch will be replicated at Sting times 100. This is the supreme way of doing things," Laing stated.
