With the success of his new single titled 'Way Up Stay Up', a cover of Beenie Man's 1995 hit, 'World Dance', Chi Ching has invited the 'King of The Dancehall' on the remix.

According to the artiste, he approached Beenie Man about being on the record, which also features Popcaan.

"I rate World Dance from I was a child, so it was more than a pleasure to have Beenie Man on this track. We have mutual respect for each other. When I told him I was gonna sing over his song, him shake me hand and say thank you. Beenie Man is not just a regular artiste, he is a legend, he is a Grammy winner, he is the King of the Dancehall," Chi Ching told THE WEEKEND STAR.

He said, since releasing Way Up, Stay Up remix, produced by Chimney Records, he has been getting positive responses.

"The slang 'way up, stay up' was created by Popcaan and then I came up with the dance. We a rewrite history and a bring back the real thing back inna dancehall. The original track was fire, but the remix just season everything. People have been saying its a good move. Big up Mr Wacky, dancing will never die. Me, Popcaan and Beenie Man a get good reviews. Right now, is not a Xmas or Christmas, it's a 'Ching-Mas'," he said.

Chi Ching is also promoting his event, Boom One Knock, to be held Saturday at the Temple Hall Club House. His self-titled EP will be released mid-December.
