$250K up for grabs at Follow Ur Sound

After three sets of clashes, the top four sound systems that have made it to the finals of Follow Ur Sound, will be vying for the Championship Belt and $250,000 in cash.

Veteran sound Silver Hawk goes up against Crazy Chris from MoBay, St Elizabeth-based King Ghetto and Redd Heat sound systems. Sponsored by Magnum Tonic Wine, the final will be on Saturday at the UDC Car Park on the Waterfront, downtown Kingston.

Deejay Busy Signal will host the proceedings, scheduled to start at 9 p.m., while the ever-entertaining Sample Man will be the MC.

Resident judges Dr Sonjah Stanly Niaah and MrVegas will be joined by DJ Sunshine.

The artiste 45 shout-out will also be settled between Nitty Kutchie, Wickerman and Major Mackerel. Oral Tracey, after an impressive win over Pretty Boy Floyd in the Magnum All-Star Face-Off at Famous Nightclub in Portmore, St Catherine, recently, goes up against Rohan Daley of CVM TV in a 45 shoot-out.

The fiery females are not to be left out - Magnum Container Satdayz Clash Winner Miss Boss and Yumi Hi-Power of Suncity Radio - will go head to head in the female clash.

The promoter is promising a clean sound clash with no profanity or discriminatory lyrics. Admission is $800 presold, $1,000 at the gate, $1,500 VIP.

Part proceeds of Magnum Follow Ur Sound will be donated to the St Mary Infirmary. The infirmary has graciously received a donation of $300,000 from the preceding three events this year.
