FLAVA UNIT celebrates 10 years of success

In recent years, one sound system which has become quite popular at a number of events, whether it's a dance, roadshow, album launch, stage show or just simply entertaining football fans, is Flava Unit.

The sound system, which began in 2004, has been making impressive strides, excelling in the entertainment industry and has found a niche that will remain solid for years to come.

Known for their mixing skills, high energy selectors and an impressive musical catalogue, the sound will mark its 10th year in the entertainment industry with a celebration that will not be like any other.

The team, which launched their international career this year with a mini tour of England, Panama and Costa Rico, and is now in the process of confirming an upcoming tour of the United States, will have its anniversary celebration tonight.

Set to be staged at the Ken's Wildflower parking lot, the event will feature the likes of Konshens, I-Octane, Romain Virgo, Bugle, Beenie Man and many more of dancehall's finest.

A release sent to THE STAR stated that the event is not only aimed at providing entertainment, but also to show appreciation to the fans and associates who have shown support to the popular sound system.

Title sponsor,Guinness, will be providing bucket deals, give-aways and specials all night, along with associate sponsor Lime providing giveaways and discounted products.

This is also being supported by Suncity Radio, Wild Flower Middle Eastern Restaurant and Brownstone Entertainment.
