Minister of Youth and Culture Lisa Hanna caused quite an uproar on social media earlier this week, after she posted a picture of herself in a yellow bikini and white T-shirt on the beach recently.

The picture has quite caused a stir, with many stating that the former beauty queen was inappropriately dressed in light of the position she holds in Parliament.

Founder of Information Technology Project Management Company Nubian Media, 29-year-old Anngenita Neil, told THE STAR that she believes that the entire scenario is being blown out of proportion.

"As a woman, she's free to express herself in that way, especially since she was a beauty queen, which makes her a cultural icon before even becoming a minister, and yes, it was a tad inappropriate, but she has a right and I think it's just being blown way out of proportion, besides if a man did it there would be no hype at all."
