This Christmas will be life changing for some lucky people in Jamaica. The island's leading multiplatform telecommunications provider, Columbus Communications Jamaica, operator of Flow, is spreading the true meaning of Christmas with surprise donations to several charities and individuals. It's the Secret Santa initiative!

Flow will be touching the lives of some 150 individuals and charities. Between December 15 and 19, the company will be giving in a meaningful way.

Corporate Communications Manager at Flow, Naomi Francis, says the company gets several requests for help throughout the year. Francis says this year's twist in how the Christmas initiative is done is meant to be more than hosting a lunch treat.

"Every year treats are organised by Corporate Jamaica and after the food, ice cream and cake the pressing needs of the people remain. Well this year the team at Flow wants to make a bigger difference and impact lives in a more meaningful way. So from children in homes to golden agers and families in need, Flow will be doing something special for them," said Francis.

A team from Flow will personally deliver the treats. The Secret Santa initiative will also premiere on Flow TV channel 100 on Monday, December 22.

Flow has been heavily involved in communities with its Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR programmes. In August, Flow welcomed some 2,000 people for its annual back-to-school fair in Montego Bay. The company also participated in some innovative corporate initiatives such as Earth Hour and the hugely popular Scandal and Game of Thrones parties among others.

"This year Flow came alive and really made its presence felt both in Corporate Jamaica and in the communities. We are proud of our projects this year and the Christmas initiative to top it off is something the entire Columbus family is proud of. We are happy to spread some Christmas cheer," remarked Francis.
