Two men involved in case and cross case and is charged with conspiring to defraud the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) had their bails extended when they appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Charged with obtaining identity information, possession of identity information, simple larceny, and unauthorised access to computer data is Sean Daniels. Charged with conspiracy to defraud is Moses Reid.

Allegations are that between August and September 2014, Reid conspired with others to defraud JPS. Consequently, the police were summoned and the accused men were arrested and charged.

In court, Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey granted Reid conditional bail in the sum of $150,000 with surety. He is to report to the Organised Crime Investigation Division on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Daniels was granted bail in the sum of $1.5 million with surety. Both accused are to return to court on December 19, pending a mention hearing.
