Dancehall recording artiste and producer, Craig 'Leftside' Parks, has promised fans more productions for the new year.

He has produced a new single, 'Cant Live Without Woman', recorded by Elephant Man, alongside legendary saxophonist Dean Fraser.

"Well, I linked up with Elephant Man with the concept for the song, which was inspired by Denise LaSalle's original single, Don't Mess With My Toot Toot.

"I then approached Dean Fraser to work his musical magic with the saxophone, and he didn't hesitate," Leftside said.

"Personally, I think this is something that is needed to add more flavour to dancehall, by getting more musicians involved."

Having co-produced tracks before for Elephant Man, Leftside expressed confidence in working with the deejay.

"I've co-produced a number of chart topping singles for Ele over the years, which includes Pon Di River, Signal the Plane, Blaze and Higher Level, to name a few," he revealed.

With his KeepLeft Record label already boasting a fine catalogue of productions including the 'Martial Arts', 'Chiney Ga,' 'Famine' and 'Party Time' rhythms, Leftside is looking to continuing that trend in 2015

"Right now, I'm doing a lot of work in the studio. I recently upgraded some of my equipment, and the idea is to get more KeepLeft Record productions out in the streets and playing on radio," he shared.

Leftside completed two successfully tours of Europe last year and has steadily been building his international fan base. Last week he shot a video for his new single, What U Need.

The video was directed by Chris 'Icey Jace' Campbell and features a futuristic concept.
