Noah Landale to rack up the views with 'Jamaica'

Reggae singer Noah Landale aka The Reggae Man, is generating a lot of heat with his new single, 'Jamaica', on the Blue Rain Entertainment imprint.

"The feedback has been incredible so far; people love the vibe of the song, the delivery and the energy," the artiste, whose real name is Lesroy Fuller, said.

Landale's old soul melodic sensibilities have made the Jamaica track a favourite on FM radio, and it is one of the few end-to-end satisfying records on the market today.

The artiste grew up in Jamaica, honing his craft by performing at church in his home town of Bog Walk in St Catherine. Now based in the UK, Landale last year got some attention in Britain with the single, My Kinda Girl. The accompanying video has so far garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube. Now, he is amping up the promotion of the Jamaica single to follow up on that success.

"I am looking forward to performing the track live for my Jamaican people, and I would really love to do this song at the Grand Gala during Independence in August," he said.

A former finalist in the 1997 Tastee Talent competition, Noah relocated to London, seeking the big break he craved. He had a difficult time with personal tragedies, first losing his mother, and then the death of his long-time music producer and friend, T Xpress, in 2010.

"It was another low point for me professionally and personally, because T Xpress became a close friend, confidant as well as my main producer," he said.

However, fortune smiled on him when he inked a recording deal with Paul Yomi, CEO of Blue Rain Entertainment. Since that time, his career has skyrocketed, and he has performed on major shows and festivals in the UK, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Denmark and Italy.

He will be releasing his debut album, The Rising, later this year.
