Waterhouse's veteran striker, Jermaine 'Tuffy' Anderson, is extremely confident of winning the Golden Boot award for top scorer at the end of this Red Stripe Premier League season.

Anderson pushed his tally to nine goals, five adrift of leading striker, Craig Foster of Reno, after scoring in Waterhouse's come-from-behind 2-1 win over Cavalier SC last Sunday at Waterhouse Stadium in Drewsland.

The 35-year-old forward came up big for his team when he equalised in the 73rd minute, following Cavalier's Norman Bailey's strike in the 17th minute. Tuffy turned provider as he assisted on schoolboy Andre Leslie's winning goal in the 81st minute.

"My name never rub out. Mi a goalscorer and will always find ways to score goals," Tuffy told STAR Sports, while at work at TankWeld Metals yesterday morning.

"I will capture the Golden Boot for the third time. I know that him (Craig Foster) is not comfortable knowing that I am close to him. Others like Rafeik Thomas of Boys' Town and Cory Burke (Rivoli United) are also there on 10 goals each, but mi a go win it again," Tuffy confidently expressed.

"I should be leading the goalscoring, as we (Waterhouse) have some of the best midfielders in the National Premier League, but I'm not getting enough service from them," he explained.

"I am working hard same way and finding ways to score for the team. Mi nah give up," Anderson stated.

"I want to help Waterhouse win the title this year as we want to do better than last year when we were beaten by Mobay (Montego Bay United) in the final."

Although in his mid-30s, Anderson is not giving up on a return to the national senior team.

"I think the coach (Winfried Schäfer) is impressed with me after he see me scoring and setting up a goal in the match last Sunday. I still have a chance and fighting for a recall," he pointed out.

Anderson captured the Tony Burrowes Award, Player of the Season, Top Goalscorer and Top Goalscorer in the third round of the RSPL 2012-13 end-of-season presentation. He was also the Top Goalscorer in the previous season.

He transferred to El Salvador's Club Deportivo Aguila in January 2014, but was cut by that club four months later, and returned to Waterhouse.
