Defending champs Belair advance to finals of ISSA table tennis competition

Ten teams, including defending Under-19 boys champions Belair and St Jago in the rural and urban sections, advanced to the next round of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Securipro table tennis competition.

From Rural Central one zone, Belair advanced to Under-19 boys' finals and Munro to semi-finals, with Munro progressing to Under-16 boys' finals and Belair to semi-finals. And in the North Eastern Zone, McGrath qualified for boys' Under-16 finals and St Mary High to semi-finals.

In the urban boys group one, the semi-finalists are St Jago and Norman Manley in Under-19 and St Jago and Jamaica College in Under-16.

St Jago blanked Norman Manley 5-0 in both boys' Under-19 and boys' Under-16; and JC crushed Ardenne 4-1 in boys' Under-16.

In group two, which is not yet completed, Campion clipped Gaynstead 3-2 in Under-19 and KC blanked Johnathan Grant 5-0 in Under-16.

Belair blanked Munro 5-0 in Under-19 and Munro blanked Belair 5-0 in Under-16. In the North Eastern Zone, McGrath drubbed St Mary High 4-1 in the boys' Under-16, to complete the fixtures for the zones.
