The new single, Tek Mi Picture, has been making the rounds on a number of top radio stations in Jamaica. The catchy tune, done by US-based dancehall artiste Ryzin, already has fans singing along. Ryzin believes the song will give him the musical breakthrough he desires. "I'm confident that this song will make a big impact on danchall music fans, all over the world," said the artiste. Described as a multi-talented individual, blessed with a unique voice, Ryzin is a product of Kingston. Born Damion Livingston, the 31-year-old singjay, said Bob Marley and Mavado are his main musical influences. Ryzin launched his career in 2010. He has recorded and released a number of singles including Gully & Gaza Peace, Bling Fi Di Christmas and Why. The hard-working deejay has created his own booking agency and production company, Zinc Fence Roll Out Production. "I'm not just an artiste. I'm also an entrepreneur. In this day and age, as an artiste you have to invest your earnings in various ventures. You have to diversify," said Ryzin, who is working on a soon-to-be released EP. The EP will feature Tek Mi Picture and previously released songs including Mi Hungry, Switch On, Me Haffi Mek and Smart. |
