'How Do You Sleep?' gives Anthony buzz

Rastafarian firebrand Anthony B is pleased with the response to his single,'How Do You Sleep?', released on his own Born Fire Music label. The single has been getting a lot of support on FM radio.

"The feedback has been great, so far. The song is doing well on charts here and overseas. What I am most proud of is that we are getting this message out: the people are suffering. How do our leaders sleep knowing what is really going on?" Anthony B asked.

The video is now being played on HYPE, RE, CVM's Street Link, Swag TV, and on Black-er's top 20 video countdown.

The Born Fire Music chief is also seeking to build a new roster of artistes that will include a female, a male and a young engineer.

"I am seeking to employ a young engineer who wants to build a camp from scratch - somebody with great ideas, passion, and commitment - someone with the ability to make rhythms that the whole world can rock to. They can submit their résumés and a sample of their work to bornfiremusic@gmail.com," he said.

Anthony B has already signed one deejay called Clarity. The Raid The Barn deejay is big on issues, and he has recorded a new single called Low Mi Wid Mi Weed for the Chase Mills Records label. That single tackles the legalisation of marijuana.

He addresses the present trend of young men being locked up for possession of marijuana, even though the impending changes to the Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) Act in Jamaica will make possession of two ounces, or less, of marijuana a non-arrestable, ticketable offence that attracts no criminal record.
