Detectives from the Hunts Bay Police Station have charged a man for the 2013 murder of a Roman Catholic Priest Father Charles Brown, which occurred on July 29 2013.

He is 31-year-old Rohan Deacon of Phase 1, Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11.

Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that Deacon, who was listed as a person of interest, was picked up in Clarendon on Thursday, February 19. He was formally charged on Sunday, March 1, by investigator's probing the priest's murder. The decomposing body of Brown was found in bushes with multiple stab wounds on the Plantation Heights main road in St Andrew.

Deacon is scheduled to appear before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday.
