Dancehall singjay Hot K has been igniting the dancehall scene with her incendiary live performances.

Dancehall fans are still raving about her high-powered cameo at the Spring Break show in Negril two weeks ago.Introduced by Tarrus Riley, she proceeded to energise the venue.

"Mi get a four corner forward for Bad Gal/Love Song and then when mi go down inna the Try Me remix, the place flatten. People love me energy and delivery, they tell me that I am one of the best female performers in the business at this moment," she said.

Hot K also delivered an impressive performance at the Spanish Town Artistes vs Kingston Artistes football match at Spanish Town Oval earlier this month.

She has been working hard, promoting her latest single Try Me, produced by Stampede Music JA.

Born Kerry Ann Lopez in Manchester, she got involved in music shortly after moving to Kingston seven years ago.

"I recorded my first song in 2008. It was called Before You Be a Mother Be a Woman on the Bass 13 riddim. I also did Crazy, which was produced by Christopher Plummer and Mikkle Mek a Mukkle for Moby's Records," said Hot K.

Last year, she won Best Deejay at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Big Stage Show in Manchester. This year, the mother of three children is concentrating on producing an album with Stampede Music JA.
