teacher convicted of stabbing man to death

A jury has convicted pre-trained teacher, Chadwick Blissett for the 2012 murder of quantity surveyor, Cletus Graham.

The jury returned a guilty verdict Wednesday in the Home Circuit Court.

Justice Lloyd Hibbert, who presided over the trial, is to hand down sentencing on April 17.

Graham's body was found with 14 stab wounds under a bed in his apartment at Roachdale Crescent in Vineyard Town on May 17, 2012.

The crown relied on circumstantial evidence to prove its case.

Graham was a past president of the Jamaica Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
