Furtyle Brain generates social media buzz

Social media sensation and dancehall artiste Furtyle Brain continues to generate a lot of attention.

"People have accepted the new look right now. Everyday, I take several pictures with the fans in the streets, from students to adults, working professionals, hustlers, everybody ah feel the look. Just the other day, a nurse took a picture with me and said 'a Facebook this ah go right now, yu know?' and mi just have to laugh, the ting a buck dem!" an elated Furtyle Brain said.

He is still basking in the success of his Pocket Money on UIM producer Anju Blaxx's Ebola rhythm, which "bucked" its way to the #1 slot on the FIWI Choice Top 10 charts last week.

"Mi just want to thank all the fans who voted for me, and I am asking them to continue to vote to keep me in the top ten, right now, the thing look fertile, and I am working hard to drop new singles," he said.

Established producers have noticed this young rookie's growing buzz and have begun to send beats his way. Earlier this week, he voiced for producer Vagga's True Loyal label on the 'Money Fi Look' rhythm. The label features heavyweight acts such as Vybz Kartel whose track already has 96,000 views on YouTube, as well as top acts Alkaline, I Octane, Motion and Ganggoolie.

"Mi feel really good about my song on the True Loyal label, it name Bruk Out and the energy up pon it. The song ah mix now, plus mi ah do the maths on a riddim fi Jones Avenue label, the ting up right now," he said.

He has also voiced a single called Fi Yu Body Gal on the Chase Mills Records label.
