Kenry and Kenroy eye medical career

GEORGE HENRY, STAR Writer

Kenry and Kenroy Robinson are second form students at the Spalding High School in Clarendon.

They were born one minute apart on June 22, 2001 to parents Kenry Robinson Sr. and Lisa Clarke of Harry Watch in Manchester.

Kenroy bragged that even though he was born just one minute before Kenry he is the older of the two boys. He noted that it is a good thing to have a twin brother because he always has company as well as someone to count on. He added that he likes his brother's company because he gets the chance to quiz him on his school- work.

The former Mile Gully Primary School students told THE STAR's Life and Times that they were both in the same class at that institution. Kenry said it was a great idea for them to be in the same class throughout their primary school years, because they got the chance to help each other with school- work.

The two said they were very protective of each other while at primary school, and even now that they are at high school, though not in the same class, they still try to be protective of each other.

The two love similar subjects at high school. These they indicated include mathematics, english language and social studies. Kenry disclosed that he wants to be a pediatrician, because he loves children. Kenroy on the other hand wants to be trained as a veterinarian because he is fond of animals.

The identical twins said they dress alike most times and persons have difficulty identifying them when they do. They said it is not easy to identify them at school, especially because they wear the same uniform. They also shared that while they were at primary school they used to trick others with their identity. They pointed out that that they did it because persons always tried to play tricks on them as well.

Kenroy made it clear that he loves attending church because he learns a lot about God. On the other hand Kenry disclosed that he does not like attending church. He was quick to point out that Kenroy encourages him to attend church and he will start attending soon.

The boys shared their favourite foods. Kenroy loves to eat baked chicken and white rice and pineapple drink. Kenry loves to consume French-fried chicken and rice and peas. He too loves to drink beverages made with pineapple.

The boys shared that they were told by their mother that she was not aware that she was going to give birth to twin babies. They said she was made aware when she was about to give birth. Kenroy said it was a good idea for her not to know, because if she knew it would have taken away the excitement.

The boys dismissed the myth that whenever one gets a beaten from their parents the other feels it. However, they shared that whenever one is ill, the other gets sick three to four days later.
