Bail extension for phone thief |

Bjorn Burke, Staff Reporter A man accused of tricking another and later stealing his cellular phone had his bail extended when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court recently. Charged with larceny by trick is 22-year-old Clive Hines, who pleaded not guilty to the offence. Allegations are that on the day of the incident, Hines made off with a Samsung Galaxy cellular phone, the property of the male complainant in the matter. In court, Hines had his bail extended by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey. He is scheduled to reappear in court on May 12 for trial. |
