Allegations are that on February 7 between 10:30 and 11:20 p.m., King went to the dwelling house of the female complainant, where he broke a glass window to the left side of her bedroom, gaining entry to the premises. It is believed that after entering, he threatened to kill her. Subsequently, the complainant made an alarm and the accused man made good his escape.

It is believed that on April 6, King was arrested on a warrant. When cautioned by lawmen, he reportedly said: "A true me tired fi run make yuh catch me."

The court heard that King and the complainant had been in a relationship up until 2004. The complainant claimed that he has made several unwelcome visits to her home, allegedly breaking in, harassing her and even stealing items.

The complainant told the court that they were youngsters when they fell in love, but she has since grown apart from him.

Subsequently, Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey ordered King further remanded. He is scheduled to reappear in court on May 29, pending a mention hearing.
