SEM G MAKES STEP WITH 'RUDE BWOY'

Fast rising dancehall artiste Sem G is generating a buzz with his latest release, Rude Bwoy Ting on the 'Weed Rock' rhythm, for Chase Mills Records.

"I am getting some positive feedback. The song is now playing on the radio and fans are telling me that they love the line that says, 'anno cement we a gofahwhen we a mek step.' The whole scheme buck when it play!" Sem G said.

There are already plans in place for Sem G to makepromotional appearances in the Caribbean and Europe to promote the single.

The artiste grew up in Richmond Park, a middle-class community in Kingston.

The deejay's musical interest goes back to his days at Kingston High School.

"I could hardly wait for breaks to beat the desk with my friends, and I always looked forward to performing at the school's concert. There, I had my peers' undivided attention," he said.

With the blessings of his friends and family, Sem G started writing his own lyrics.

The deejay urges other artistes and producersto desist from writing and producing negative lyrics.

"I can't erase or recall a song released, and 15, 20 years from now,my first single will remain.

"Therefore, I am extremely careful what I am feeding listeners," he stated.
