SANDZ celebrates anniversary this sunday

Jamaica's Ultimate Beach Chill event is back this Sunday to celebrate its one-year anniversary.

SANDZ has been creating waves throughout Jamaica as they continue to bring fashion, style, music and friends together to enjoy liquour and just have fun.

The SANDZ concept was coined by a group of young professionals touted as Supreme Events, whose aim was to conceptualise an event which would bring friends to the beach in the day, have it infused with music, premium liquor and a means to escape a hot summer's day, while having a laid-back experience. The gathering began growing as the network started expanding, which became an inspiration to share the same lyme with many who enjoyed such leisurely exercise. Since then, SANDZ has been generating interest from corporate entities.

"We are excited to have Pepsi on board with us as we celebrate this amazing milestone, our one-year anniversary for providing 'the Ultimate Beach Chill' series of events for our patrons," said Kitwahna Vassell of Supreme Events.

The anniversary promises to be bigger and better. SANDZ will be held at Sugarman's Beach in Portmore at noon. Tickets are $1,500 presold and $2,000 at the gate for general, while VIP tickets are $3,000 food and drinks inclusive.

"We are encouraging patrons to come out early and bring your fashion game. We are doing things bigger and we look forward to a share in an entertainment-packaged day," said Dexter Young, member of Supreme Events.
