Kurry Stain soars with 'Sky Pree' |

Kurry Stain Dancehall rookie deejay Kurry Stain is enjoying a decent buzz with his latest single, 'Sky Pree', on the Life Support rhythm for JA Productions. The wonderfully penned song has a catchy chorus and even a great bridge where Kurry Stain deejays: "right now, wi haffi work hard/mi nah go like the mouse inna the churchyard." "I swear, is a great look. mi phone a blow up every day Born in St Thomas, Kurry Stain was raised in Portland in a Christian family. He graduated from Portland high school with four CXC subjects but relocated to Kingston at 18 to pursue a musical career. "I came to Kingston and decided I had to enter some talent competition so I could get some producers or manager to see the potential in me, so I tried KFC On the Verge and went to finals but did not win, then I entered Tastees Talent trail and went to the semi-finals round but did not win. Then a huge opportunity came his way when he heard about dancehall star Popcaan's Unruly Clash. "I went to the clash and I lyrically slew everything weeks upon weeks, generating a huge buzz for me from last year May until now. After that, producer Justus Arison was the man who saw and heard the potential in me and recorded my first official mainstream song and is now working with me," he said. He scored big with his breakthrough single, Party Nice, for JA Productions. And he has not looked back since. He has a number of singles such as Smoke Weed and Fly featuring Supa Hype, Belly So Flat for Khame Up Records, and Bring Back The Reggae for Audio Traxx Production.
