Jus Pure Shegry!

Is how unuh and di heat a mek out inna di summer yah? No sah, mi cya manage! If the place get hot one more time I goodly lose my mind! Right now, I can’t even talk cause I sound like “when dem sand dawg” between the sun, A/C and rain. And I don’t have A/C at my house so don’t even bada think mi a show off. Inna real life doh when the heat is turned up even the A/C dem a bawl!

Hello my dear readers, greetings!

So, let’s play a game!

Who can tell me one company that just don’t pardon anybody?

It is one place that facilitate all sorts of people, uptown/downtown, rich/poor, black or white etc. You get the point?

The place always full, especially month end? Can’t guess yet or too many answers that match the hints?

Okay, fine, guess again ....

The workers, especially cashiers, move at snail’s pace?

If you don’t pay for the service you have to light a candle and sing a sanky. Lol!

If you didn’t get it by now or after this, go back to school.

It has a three letter abbreviation that could stand for “Just Pure Shegry”!

Pat your shoulder if you think you got it right. I went to the JPS office on Ruthven Road, St Andrew, recently to pay a bill for someone, and, as usual, I had to amuse myself with everything happening around me. Firstly, I tried to get some information from the front desk customer service representative, and he made me think I needed hearing aid since I was so close to him and could hardly hear.

Now I do understand speaking softly so that the fass people them in the line can’t hear the customers’ business, but lawd gosh when someone has to be bending over the desk into your chest to hear you speak, it bad!

LONG CASHIER LINE

Furthermore, when you go in that building, it’s no secret, it’s usually one of two things. One yuh a pay fi u light nuh cut off or two, yuh a pay fi put on back yuh light. Talking bout secret, I saw a certain man that judge on one of them shows we have on TV yearly and I had to do a double take to see if my eyes were failing me cause I thought him cheque did big ... Light nuh supposed to a cut off, doh? Well could be somebody’s bill him paying to. *covers face*

Anyway, I walked to the long cashier line while typing on my phone (as usual), next thing I know this nice decent lady did a not so decent thing (you really shouldn’t take people at face value). A little boy was standing off to the side as I entered the line and this woman came and drag him roughing him up, “mi nuh tell yuh fi stand up inna di line yuh mek sumady come before yuh, how yuh so fool?”

Hear me with mi nuff self, “why you handling him like that, if he was in the line you can simply come and say it to me, but geez you don’t need to handle the child like that!”

She didn’t expect that response from me so she stood there with her hypocrite self, smiling and rubbing the little boy in a nicer way, now grumbling something I couldn’t and wasn’t interested in hearing. Like, seriously though, some of you parents/adults need to stop being so aggressive or hoggish with the kids.

My thoughts were disturbed by a man who appeared to be partially deaf based on how loudly he was chatting? People like him should stay home so no one hear him speak.

“If you at JPS a pay bill you shouldn’t have to pay fee, that no make no sense....!” Didn’t get everything he was saying, but I kinda agreed with that part. Not understanding exactly what was going on I asked the hoggish lady if it was true that you had to pay, she didn’t know but she must have felt bad from before so she started making conversation. Of course my head still in my phone cause she already turn mi off with her behaviour.

I prayed the man would shut up but God must have had me in the naughty corner since he kept ranting loudly. All I know everyone looked annoyed. I was glad when it was my turn. Pay as I go and leave. Can’t wait for JPS to implement that technique though, I think it’s interesting “Pay as you go” want to see how it will work out. Of course not for them but for the people cause is just pure shegry dem gwaan wid. Unuh tell me say a lie?! I don’t know anyone who never had issues with them!

Waste our hard earned bread pay all security that just sit in A/C whole day and do nothing. This monopoly thing a mash up the people them. Need some competition man.

Later yah people cause them vex mi spirit! If is never one thing you see I go back to lighting lamps!

Bless up unuh self. Next week! Walk good yah mi chile!
