LIE DETECTOR CRAZE FOR J'CAN WOMEN

A polygraph test or lie-detector test is increasingly being used by women to find out whether their male significant others have actually been unfaithful to them.

Raglon Wynter, marketing and public relations manager of Polygraph Associates, a member of the Quest Security Group of companies, states that at least two persons come in each week to take the lie-detector test to prove whether a partner has been unfaithful.

“It is mostly women taking men. We have been getting an increase where one partner lives abroad and when that person comes back to the island, if that person only visits three or four times for the year, almost every time that individual visits, an examination has been requested,” said Wynter, noting that periods around Easter, Christmas and New Year’s Eve have highest traffic.

Explaining how the process works, Wynter stated that the women take their men to a location with a predetermined set of questions in an envelope. The spouse is then placed on the machine and an examiner starts a quiz based on the questions provided.

“Testing and results can be done on the same day or within a 24-36 hour window. We take them to the site for testing,” Wynter said.

He acknowledged that though he has never seen any violence meted out to the unfaithful spouse, there is, however, a lot of quarreling between both parties.

It costs a little over $21,000 to do a lie detector test.
