Ras Cleva to shoot video for new singles

Rodrick 'Ras Cleva' Brown arrived in Jamaica recently to shoot music videos for his new singles, Open Door and So Much To Love. The songs will be shot by acclaimed director Karl Durrant in St Ann, Port Royal and locations across Kingston.

The reggae crooner who has been rising in reggae circles internationally is a former Kingston College Manning Cup star. He was awarded a soccer scholarship to Campbellsville University, Kentucky, USA.

"Football will always be a part of my life and has afforded me many wonderful experiences, which I am truly thankful for. However, music has always been my true calling and I believe it is the right time to make my mark musically," Ras Cleva stated.

Ras Cleva, who has been getting much airplay locally, will be making promotional appearances on local radio and TV while on his two-week trip.

"I made headlines as a footballer. This time, I will do the same but in a major way as a recording artiste," Ras Cleva said.

He is also slated to release other singles, such as Jah A Guide, and an EP soon.
