Brown gets September date for doping trial

A date of September 4 at the Jamaica Conference Centre has been set for Jamaica cricketer, Odean Brown, to face the Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel to answer to doping- related charges.

Brown was charged according to Article 2.4 of the Jamaica Anti-doping Code for failure to provide whereabouts information for out-of-competition testing.

According to the code, three missed tests within an 18-month period constitute an anti-doping violation.

The panel is chaired by former Director of Public Prosecutions Kent Pantry.
