Jamaica's Paralympics team to the 2015 Toronto Para Pan American Games, next month, expressed readiness and confidence of delivering winning performances ahead of their departure for Canada.

The fifth Para Pan Games will take place from August 7-15 in Toronto, Canada.

'Toronto is calling, and Jamaica will answer' was the theme of yesterday's press conference, held at the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) office on Cunningham Avenue.

Outgoing Canadian High Commissioner to Jamaica, Robert Ready, paid tribute to Jamaica's paralympians.

"You say you are ready for Toronto, well Toronto is ready for you," he said.

Jamaica's aggregation will be led by F52/53 Javelin world record holder Alphanso Cunningham, Tanto Campbell, Shane Hudson, David Bascoe, Tevaugh Thomas, and the lone female Sylvia Grant.

Chef de Mission, Randolph Jones, and coach Neville Sinclair, among others will be in charge.
