Overseas-based recording artiste Armshouse Gadahfii is currently on the island hoping to make a mark on the Jamaican music industry this summer.

Signed to US-based label, AHM Records, the artiste recently released a single called Jamaica, which he says is quite popular in Europe.

"It a pick up in Europe very well. sometimes it's surprising to see how people know it. But I want to reap that success in Jamaica now, especially since the song is dedicated to Jamaica; it's only fair to create an impact here with it. Summertime is always good for music in the island, so I am here now, and I am looking forward to all the blessings I can get from the local music industry," Gadahfii said.

The artiste and his label are also working on an EP which will be released before the end of 2015. The project will be called Music for the People and will feature both reggae and dancehall songs.

"My music is for people to enjoy and be proud of Jamaica and its progress. If you want to make authentic reggae and dancehall music, the best place to be is in Jamaica. That is why me and my team here now; we want to make the right product for the fans of music and also live up to the standards that were set by our forefathers of the music," he said.
