G Mandingo releases 'Everything Good'

Dancehall artiste G Mandingo, aka Gamal Atkins, is not a man who gives up easily.

The talented deejay, who is also a professional building contractor, made his debut in 2013 with a single called Sell the Jeep. Although the song was not a hit, it received a fair amount of airplay and helped to open many doors for him in the music business.

Mandingo also released several other singles that were warmly received, including Super Star and a cover of Nat King Cole's ABlossom Fell.

In 2014, Mandingo's music career was halted because of diabetes and a tumor in his brain. After several months of treatment, he has made a successful recovery and is now pursuing his musical dreams again.

"I am happy to be able to continue my music career again. I am thankful to the Creator for making this possible. It has not been an easy road in terms of making my recovery from my illness, but I am good now. That means I will be doing my best to make my name in the music business," said the artiste.

Mandingo recently released a single titled Everything Good, featuring Askel on his Ying & Yeng imprint. He is also working on an EP for December.

"This new single is getting a fair amount of support; I am very pleased with the response. I am going to shoot a video this month," he said.
