Weed Rock rocking summer

Anthony B

The Weed Rock rhythm is now available on iTunes. Distributed by Zojak World Wide, the rhythm has been one of the most popular projects on the radio this summer.

The project is laced with Jeep-rocking anthems from indie label Chase Mills Records, and samples the work of Hugh James of Red Man International.

Anthony B leads out the Weed Rock riddim with the pro-ganja track, Lowe Mi Wid Mi Weed. The song was a fixture on the FIWI Choice top 10 charts.

Red-hot rookie Moshan burns the airwaves with Talk, which appears to take a swipe at his former producer, Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell.

Dancehall star Shawn Storm knows what it means to be a Real Friend, showing real clarity and force on this track. Bridgez generated debate on social media and made newspaper headlines with her oral sex arguments on Know You Baby. She recently released a video for the project.

Macka Diamond reminds us why she is the 'Money Goddess' by sampling a Dennis Brown song on No Money No Love. Newcomer Dimon lowers the boom with Gal Settings, arguably one of the best songs on the project.

Rhyme-spitter Network brings ghetto soul and heart with Realest. Juggla recently shot and released a video for his song, arguably the most hilarious on the rhythm, Quarter Pound.

Furtyle Brain has an uncanny knack for getting the girls to 'bruk out', and he shows his lyrical dexterity with Fi Yu Body Gal.One of the breakout voices on this rhythm is Free People Records artiste Sem G with Rude Bwoy Ting.

Delly Ranx shows his consistency with Leave That Alone, while Professa is at his best with witty wordplay on Mi Ever Have It With Me. The riddim was mixed by top beat-maker Avikon, while the executive producer is Claude Mills. A new medley video featuring Sem G, Dimon, Macka Diamond and Anthony B is to be released.
