Court requests fingerprint order in sibling-wounding case

An act of violence committed against a sibling, allegedly by his brothers, has landed one man in court, charged with wounding.

When the matter was called up in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court, accused Rajae Grant pleaded not guilty to felonious-wounding charges.

He told the court it was not he who had inflicted wounds to his brother. He was among the group of siblings who had confronted the brother.

The court heard that the complainant was attacked during a dispute with his brothers.

He was chopped on the arm and spent a week in hospital.

The medical report in the matter is outstanding.

A fingerprint order was also made. Grant is to return to court on September 3.
