Vanessa Bling hit by scammers

Another Jamaican artiste has been targeted by scammers. This time, it is dancehall artiste Vanessa Bling.

In a statement sent to THE STAR, Vanessa Bling's management team said, "Promoters that have been trying to book Vanessa Bling, please be careful because there are some people going around scamming promoters by saying that they are a part of my management team and my booking agent. Please note you can only contact me at 876-422-0178 and in Canada at 1416-871-8185."

The statement continued, "They can also contact Marcus Myrie or email me at vanessablingbookings@gmail.com or camarz12@gmail.com."

Reports are that generic social media pages have been created using images taken from the Vanessa Bling's accounts.

While not taking responsibility for the actions of the scammers, Vanessa Bling's management team has apologised to persons who may have been affected.

Annoying

"We sincerely apologise to all persons who have been affected by these mischievous persons. This issue with online scammers is getting way too annoying, and we want it to end as soon as possible because artistes have been complaining for a long time now, but God is not sleeping and their day will come," the release added.

However, Vanessa Bling has been added to the long list of Jamaican artistes who have had issues with persons impersonating them on social media. Acts like Demarco, Tommy Lee Sparta, Tifa, Dexta Daps, Masicka, Gage, Gully Bop, and long list of other artistes have been affected by this in the past.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Bling is currently in the United States trying to extend her fan base.
