Helping others to heal

Hit By stroke

One Sabbath, three young women visited me crying uncontrollably. This prompted me to ask if they lost a loved one. They said their 37-year-old mother suffered a major stroke and they feared she did not have very long to live. The sisters begged me to help save their mother.

After asking a few questions, I invited them to hold hands. We formed a prayer circle. I prayed long and hard for their mother.

I asked the Lord to heal her. Afterwards, I was physically and spiritually drained but confident God would answer my prayers.

The women then left with my assurance that their mother's life was now in the hands of God.

When I called later that day, they were at the hospital with their mother. She was well enough to speak with me on the phone. I invited one of the daughters to retrieve medicine from me, for her mother.

About two months later, I was pleased when a woman visited my office and identified herself as the person for whom I had prayed. She was feeling much better, having finished the medicine.

Thanks to the Lord.

PROSTATE PROBLEMS

Some time ago, an 84-year-old man turned up at my office complaining of severe prostate problems. He had difficulty and pain whenever he tried to pass urine. Things were so bad, he travelled with a bag at his side to urinate in.

After assessing the situation, I gave him some medicine and advised him to return in two weeks. When he returned, he was moving briskly, and without the bag! He thanked me repeatedly and insisted on compensating me.

I told him it was not necessary since I had already been paid for my work. He stilll insisted. He left money and urged me to keep up the good work.
