Detectives attached to the Savanna-la-Mar Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing to the public for their assistance in identifying the body of a male that was found in Bath district, Westmoreland, on Monday.

The body which appears to be in its mid-20s, is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 177 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long. It was clad in a black and grey striped shirt, blue jeans and a pair of black sneakers.

Reports are that about 10:30 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the police. Upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Investigations continue.
