"I am really looking forward to running a personal best and hopefully I can do it here," Fraser-Pryce said yesterday. Fraser-Pryce has a personal best of 10.70 seconds, while her season's best is 10.74.

She added: "I love coming here. The stadium is always filled with fans, it's one of the few places where the stadium is always sold out, and I know that the fans are looking forward to seeing lots of medallists from the World Championships, so I am looking forward to doing the best I can."

Fraser-Pryce is the leader in the 100m with 12 points and a win today will seal the Diamond race title.
