Beach A Rama grows in size

Curtis Campbell, STAR Writer

The recently concluded Beach A Rama held at Cable Hut Beach in Bull Bay, St Andrew, broke new ground with its promotions, as this staging pulled more patrons than the previous effort.

Hosted by Danielle DI and Kamala Latouche, the event was supported by hundreds of patrons who kept the bar busy despite the event not being drink inclusive. Sponsored by Stag Beer and Magnum, both brands brought out their respective promo girls who engaged in live dance-off. Patrons cheered the ladies on as they delivered heavily sexual dance moves.

The DJs, Flabba Dabba, Ikel Marvellous, and Travellers, also encouraged the females to get out of their comfort zones, and they obeyed especially when songs like Aidonia's Jockey, No Boring Gyal and Tan Tuddy blared from the speakers.

Splits and handstands

The stage was perhaps not one of the cleanest due to the sand. However, the females didn't seem to mind as they mopped sections with their bottoms and hair as they performed splits and handstands.

Beach A Rama was jam-packed until after 10 p.m., when the police instructed the selector to turn off the music. However, at that point nobody lamented for an extension since they all came out early and enjoyed more than four hours of solid high-energy entertainment.

Danielle DI did not deejay this time around, however, she boosted the egos of the females with her expletive interludes.

"Big up all the tight ... gyal dem. If yu know sey yu tight, buss a Ms Kitty blank," she shouted at one point, and of course the females responded screaming la la la la la. The usually reserved Kamala Latouche was noticeably quite colourful with her choice of words as well.
