CURTIS CAMPBELL, STAR Writer

Dancehall artiste Sanjay is promoting a new dance move and single for his hit slang, 'Belleh'.

For the dance move, he has collaborated with popular dancer Shelly Belly, as well as recording artistes Deep Jahi and Innovata. The song premiered recently on Digicel Rising Stars.

The artiste is also executing a hard-core street promotional campaign, touching some of the popular dancehall events. He also told The WEEKEND STAR that since its debut, the public has quickly taken a liking to Belleh.

"The kids have really taken on to it and the streets, as well as everywhere I go, people using it especially when they see me," Sanjay told The WEEKEND STAR.

Belleh was released under Sanjay's own Portland Cottage Productions. However, the rhythm was produced by Tiyarro of Inna Me Genes Productions and Karl Morrison of Starplayer Music Group.

"All artistes represent a different aspect of Belleh as they are all special in their own way, with Innovata having his 'Belleh' style, Deep Jahi being a 'Belleh' lyricist, and Shelly Belly being a 'Belleh' dancer. The collaboration is a dynamic mixture of characters and personalities," he said.

"We are going to do a video and get it on all media channels. Everybody love the dance even though some a cuss sey mi cyah dance.
