Young and upcoming Jamaican musician Shenko Nashinal said he's pleased with the direction his career is heading, under the tutelage of Cornelius Grant's Good Vybz Entertainment.

The 23-year-old artiste, whose real name is Kevon Brown, seems to have found the right knick amongst the Jamaican YouTube subscribers as his recent hit video Cashpot, has surpassed over 100,000 views in two months.

Shenko Nashinal, who currently resides in Waterhouse, St Andrew, is experiencing a rather successful musical year thus far ever since he collaborated with established dancehall performer Danny English for the single Arrest, which was produced by Good Vybz Entertainment.

He has also collaborated with rising female artiste Sekkle Dung Wendy on Never Have Time on Good Vybz Entertainment's Love Affair medley release, which went number three on CVM TV's Hit List Countdown entertainment show.

Shenko Nashinal, a Kingston Technical High School graduate, told THE STAR recently that he's in a positive mind frame and waits eagerly to woo the world with his music, which most have so far deemed to be infectious.

"I love what Good Vybz Entertainment is doing for my career. I have lots of positive and entertaining music for this world to love and embrace," he said.

The aspiring artiste said he will release soon a new single titled Hands Of Time, which he dedicates to his deceased mother Jacqueline Brown who died in December. "She was and still is my biggest motivation. This song is very personal and it will resonate well with people who have lost a loved one," he said.

The immediate success of Cashpot, which was produced by a Russian name El Toro, comes as a surprise to Shenko Nashinal even though he already knew it would have generated a buzz in the public. "I honestly never thought Cashpot was going to be this successful so quick. But, I would like to use this opportunity to thank all those who have shown support so far," he said.

Shenko Nashinal is also getting ready to release a new single titled Love Surround, which features another female artiste who goes by the name of Sasi Bling.
