Cops seek public's help in locating man
The St Elizabeth police are seeking the public's help in locating a man who they believe can help them in their ongoing investigations into a car stealing ring in the parish.

Bryan Austin from the Holt community is being sought by the Santa Cruz police.

It is reported that cops went to Holt on Friday where they carried out an operation at a garage owned by Austin.

THE STAR understands that the police found several cars in various stages of being scrapped.

It is also reported that they found a car which was stolen last Tuesday night from a house in Santa Cruz.

Further reports have also stated that a large quantity of car parts was also seized along with four cars which were being repaired. Austin who was at the garage fled upon the arrival of the cops.

He is being asked to turn himself in as the police believe he can answer questions relating to the vehicles which were found at his garage.

In the interim, the police have removed the cars and car parts to the Santa Cruz and Lacovia police stations.
